Using Math Milestone Tasks to Inform Instruction

Attendees must have previously attended the Math Core Curriculum session. In this session teachers will deepen their understanding of the Math Tasks embedded in the curriculum, particularly the Milestone Task. Teachers will examine the intent of the tasks, get resources for calibrating and scoring them, look at results, and determine next steps for re-engagement. Focus will be on analyzing student work to inform instruction.
