This interactive and informative session will support teachers in learning about the Visual and Performing Arts (VAPA) programs, classes, and goals for all students in Kindergarten through Grade Twelve. Following a presentation about the current courses, in school programs, and special events in SFUSD, teachers will have the opportunity to collaboratively plan how to support and participate in these programs. This session will be especially helpful for all new K--5 and K-8 school General Education Teachers who will be active participants and partners with VAPA throughout the year. A brief overview of the Middle Grades Redesign initiative will be included.
